I have often wondered how many books I read in a year. I am hoping this will help me keep track.
My plan is to post once a week with the books I read and a blurb about whether I enjoyed them or not
I am the type of reader that hears absolutely nothing if I am loving a book. When I was younger my three kids could be screaming, the phone ringing, someone at the door yelling my name and I would never hear a thing.
I would love some suggestions for books.
I took out a beautiful truth by Colin McAdam from the library. I really enjoyed the first half. This is about a couple that can't have children. The husband buys his wife a chimp. I loved reading about the crazy things that go on with this chimp until he gets to be 14. The end of the book mostly has chimps talking to each other and it kind of drove me crazy.
The most recent book I read was The Rosie Project. I loved this book. I bought it for my sister and then read it again. The main character is very similar to Sheldon from the The Big Bang Theory. He decides at age 39 he should have a wife. He joins a online dating club. He has pages of requirements the woman must meet to become his wife. His dates are hilarious.
